In the 19th minute, Camillo Di Bartolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Raymond came free, but Ettore Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Eraldo De Cristofaro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Montechiarugolo AFC's zone, Ambrosio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Paris came out of the goal and Ambrosio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ettore Paris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Ilazki in the 26th minute. Aurelio Mikolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Finocchi in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Montechiarugolo AFC's Andrea Guerrieri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Mikolas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 38th minute Zeledon Ilazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Mikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Finocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Zeledon Ilazki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Ettore Paris made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, Zeledon Ilazki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ettore Paris. Zeledon Ilazki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Isusko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Jesus Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Mela Banco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Eraldo De Cristofaro got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute, Simon Isusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ettore Paris was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Elia Finocchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montechiarugolo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Finocchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Mikolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute Zeledon Ilazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrea Guerrieri in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Mikolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ettore Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Ilazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Astor Oidor kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sportivo Mela Banco players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
