Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Comșa started the match with the kick off. Florin Enoaia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dove Roig in the 5th minute. Jonathan Samuel kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Jilăveanu in the 8th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Norbert Domenech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goalkeeper Florin Enoaia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dove Roig. Marius Bogatu's late challenge caught a Herblay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Bogatu helped the player get up and apologised. Florin Enoaia was a little too slow when Dove Roig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Nicolae Jilăveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Domenech having to interfere. If Victor Comșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Enoaia made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Dove Roig sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute of the match Herblay got a corner. Viola Invest's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucien Decottignies ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Herblay's Lucien Decottignies to fire away a dangerous shot which Florin Enoaia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dove Roig succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Dove Roig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florin Enoaia made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Dove Roig sent off a good shot on target. Florin Enoaia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dove Roig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dove Roig to strike the kick off in the second half. Gelu Covaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Norbert Domenech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dove Roig in the 58th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Florin Enoaia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viola Invest's Florin Enoaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dove Roig in the 59th minute of play. When Nechifor Bîndean fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viola Invest's protests and gave Nechifor Bîndean a yellow card for diving instead. Nechifor Bîndean hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Nechifor Bîndean recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norbert Domenech. Nechifor Bîndean showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Thierry Cottard charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thierry Cottard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Thierry Cottard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florin Enoaia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean-Charles Gauche went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. When Jean-Charles Gauche came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Charles Gauche couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Dove Roig came free, but Florin Enoaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dove Roig came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dove Roig couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herblay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Bilașco was slow to take the kick. During this time Viola Invest's players had a chance to rest. Viola Invest's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Bilașco in the 93rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Martin Bilașco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Norbert Domenech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Norbert Domenech managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Viola Invest's Nicolae Jilăveanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicolae Jilăveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
