Elton Tin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Ragazzoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fulvio Filice came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by U. de Tarapacá's Elvis Nieto. But to his dismay, Elvis Nieto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Raúl Gorriti hit a great ball. Ferruccio Ascani hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Emilio Pietrangelo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Odol Bianchi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulvio Filice. Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fulvio Filice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Pozo in the 18th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Emanuel Pozo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montechiarugolo AFC's Fulvio Filice. Fulvio Filice was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Saturnín Vicuña hit a great ball. The long shot by Emilio Pietrangelo in the 30th minute really tested Elton Tin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ferruccio Ascani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Elton Tin made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Miren Guilisasti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U. de Tarapacá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After having played for 40 minutes, Elvis Nieto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U. de Tarapacá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvis Nieto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montechiarugolo AFC's Fulvio Filice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Nieto in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

In the 53rd minute, Hugo Ferrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferruccio Ascani hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Odol Bianchi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulvio Filice. Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Miren Guilisasti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fulvio Filice, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Nieto in the 76th minute of play forced Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Fulvio Filice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Raúl Gorriti hit a great ball. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnín Vicuña didn't get a good kick on the ball.
