The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Victor Comșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Artūras Jankaitis came free, but Florin Enoaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nerijus Sadeckas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Comșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Bilașco who took care of the corner kick. Victor Comșa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nerijus Sadeckas came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Comșa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Nechifor Bîndean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nerijus Sadeckas made a huge save. Artūras Jankaitis scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Enoaia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's goalkeeper Nerijus Sadeckas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nechifor Bîndean. Aron Turceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Gediminas Tavoras sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florin Enoaia skillfully saved the ball. Victor Comșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI got a freekick which was hit by Svajūnas Deksnys. The crowd rose to their feet as Viola Invest's Nechifor Bîndean slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nerijus Sadeckas. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artūras Jankaitis to strike the kick off in the second half. Artūras Jankaitis came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Florin Enoaia could save by the left post. It was beautiful to see FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Gediminas Tavoras in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 58th minute, Modestas Obrikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Juozas Tučkus got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Victor Comșa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Nerijus Sadeckas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Svajūnas Deksnys hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Artūras Jankaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Iustinian Brezeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viola Invest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI the free kick. Iustinian Brezeanu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Nerijus Sadeckas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Bogatu in the 83rd minute of play. Marius Bogatu's late challenge caught a FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Bogatu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Viola Invest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Bogatu to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Nechifor Bîndean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Dragoş Barbălată hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Viola Invest were victorious despite being under pressure from FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI for much of the match.
