In the 12th minute, Bogdan Bogdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nichifor Badea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Laurin Rapado. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jimeno Vicente managed to get in a good position for a shot. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Vicente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nichifor Badea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curcio Gonzalvez to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Costel Vlas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nichifor Badea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Sabina in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea got control of the ball when Curcio Gonzalvez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curcio Gonzalvez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Nichifor Badea made a huge save. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when LVCVS AVGVSTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Vicente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Narcis Arapașu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo-Enrique Folch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nichifor Badea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leal Herrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Nichifor Badea made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Laurin Rapado sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Jorge Climent got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurin Rapado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laurin Rapado took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nichifor Badea. Nichifor Badea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Nichifor Badea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Gonzalvez in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV defense, Laurin Rapado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nichifor Badea. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nichifor Badea should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Curcio Gonzalvez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nichifor Badea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Nichifor Badea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Gonzalvez in the 77th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Narcis Arapașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Laurin Rapado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Badea came out of the goal and Laurin Rapado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Narcis Arapașu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV and the LVCVS AVGVSTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Narcis Arapașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Sabina to maneuver through the defense. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
