Franco Mussoll started the match with the kick off. Danilo Villafane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Aznaro in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Danilo Villafane got control of the ball when Zeledon Ovando tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Mussoll in the 12th minute of play forced Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goalkeeper Epifanio Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Danilo Villafane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Aznaro. Gaston Demarios short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Danilo Villafane to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute, Eustacio Lehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goal looked a bit too open when Franco Mussoll came free, but Epifanio Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Loco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Mussoll's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camacho Goiri to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Gallego came free, but Epifanio Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Lehen to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Villafane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efrain Haimar went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Epifanio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Mussoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Danilo Villafane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Guayaquil FC from getting a goal against them. Franco Mussoll scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Loco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Igor Emenon was substituted for Jose Abechuco. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ made a substitution. Ermegildo Enetz replaced Zeledon Ovando. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Demario made a kick off. Gabriel Gallego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Uriona to maneuver through the defense. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Danilo Villafane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Aznaro in the 63rd minute of play. Franco Mussoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Loco stood somewhat misplaced when Franco Mussoll came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Epifanio Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Mussoll in the 86th minute. Danilo Villafane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Demario in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter de Guayaquil FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴.
