An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurin Rapado in the 13th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Nichifor Badea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Herrero came free, but Nichifor Badea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute LVCVS AVGVSTI were awarded a corner. Laurin Rapado went to the cornerflag to take it. Laurin Rapado made a great header on LVCVS AVGVSTI's corner, it was just that MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea managed to reach the ball for a save. Bogdan Bălășoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nichifor Badea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leal Herrero's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Adrian Gherasim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Pablo-Enrique Folch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurin Rapado in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichifor Badea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adrian Gherasim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Gonzalvez in the 44th minute of play.

Nichifor Badea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurin Rapado in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Laurin Rapado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nichifor Badea. Nichifor Badea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Curcio Gonzalvez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Nichifor Badea made a huge save. In the 58th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Vicente to maneuver through the defense. Albert Antohi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Gonzalvez came free, but Nichifor Badea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Nichifor Badea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurin Rapado. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. LVCVS AVGVSTI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laurin Rapado in the 75th minute. The corner led LVCVS AVGVSTI's Curcio Gonzalvez to fire away a dangerous shot which Nichifor Badea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as LVCVS AVGVSTI's Leal Herrero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nichifor Badea. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. Pablo-Enrique Folch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Frânculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Badea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curcio Gonzalvez in the 84th minute. Nichifor Badea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leal Herrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The LVCVS AVGVSTI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LVCVS AVGVSTI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
