Emanuele Guaita had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Antonis Petridis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Emanuele Guaita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonis Petridis went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Fabio Mirto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Fabio Mirto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Errikos Gerokostas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Monaco in the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Christodoulos Symeonas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emanuele Guaita, 3-3. In the 72nd minute, Federico Monaco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Boca Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Errikos Gerokostas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Monaco's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Ermis Ntaliardos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Guaita came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermis Ntaliardos slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermis Ntaliardos got free with Emanuele Guaita in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ercole Ceresoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errikos Gerokostas having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, CA Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Ceresoli to maneuver through the defense.
