The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stein Van Leemputte during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Paulo Correia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maarten Soetemans. Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stein Van Leemputte hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Maarten Soetemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Carneiro in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lou Winnepenninck came free, but Ismael Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Joel Gevaert hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Kim De Poorter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Valadares. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim De Poorter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pedro Augusto Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maarten Soetemans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Augusto Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Maarten Soetemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Fernandez in the 26th minute of play. Stein Van Leemputte kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Luís Fabiano Paes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maarten Soetemans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ reached it. After 34 minutes of play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Valdemar Passos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maarten Soetemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maarten Soetemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Jacque De Wit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Augusto Carneiro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Twierdza Osowiec's Maarten Soetemans got control of the ball when Pedro Augusto Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Valdemar Passos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maarten Soetemans. Valdemar Passos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, Valdemar Passos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maarten Soetemans, 1-3. Lou Winnepenninck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ismael Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kim De Poorter hit a great ball. When Valdemar Passos fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's protests and gave Valdemar Passos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Valdemar Passos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Passos in the 76th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Maarten Soetemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kim De Poorter hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jorg Saelens hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 1-4 became the score in the 83rd minute when Jorge Lara elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ismael Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stein Van Leemputte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
