With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Green Horses's Kyriakos Kazatzis got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Green Horses's zone, Chicão Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errikos Gerokostas came out of the goal and Chicão Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo do Nascimento came free, but Errikos Gerokostas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christodoulos Symeonas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Christodoulos Symeonas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Benedito Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Benedito Bastos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Periklis Zorbadelos got free with Benedito Bastos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Reynaldo do Nascimento notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Green Horses's Errikos Gerokostas. Errikos Gerokostas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Lino de Lara hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino de Lara in the 40th minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Errikos Gerokostas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Reynaldo do Nascimento made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Errikos Gerokostas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christodoulos Symeonas was the one to do the kick off. If Avraam Liakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Christodoulos Symeonas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedito Bastos was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Green Horses's corner Antonis Petridis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedito Bastos quite easily take care of the ball. Arthur de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, one of Green Horses:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Green Horses. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for G.E. Juventus FSCMZ. Cleiton Queiroz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Errikos Gerokostas. 0-3. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
