In the 2nd match minute, Urko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Ciano to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Jakobe's late challenge caught a Monitor Huáscar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Jakobe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's Lucio Jakobe got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Jonathan Molino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dani Oro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bidari Ansola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Teodosio Vedillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Molino in the 28th minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Humberto Noe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urko FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monitor Huáscar the free kick. In the 28th minute, Humberto Noe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bidari Ansola struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Teodosio Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monitor Huáscar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bidari Ansola in the 31st minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Timoteo Lizardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urko FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monitor Huáscar the free kick. A collision led to Urko FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Timoteo Lizardi hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Vedillo skillfully saved the ball. When Ramiro Ted fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urko FC's protests and gave Ramiro Ted a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Ramiro Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo got control of the ball when Bidari Ansola tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tadeo Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucio Jakobe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. In the 46th minute, Lucio Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Monitor Huáscar's Jonathan Molino in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urko FC's goalie prevented a goal. Teodosio Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bidari Ansola in the 56th minute of the match. Jorge Tabor charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Tabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Monitor Huáscar's Leizarraga Ergueta was substituted for Dani Oro. In the 57th match minute, Urko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Tabor to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Teodosio Vedillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes Urko FC got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Chorache. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilberto Ciano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferman Basabe. That made the score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. In the 83rd minute Leizarraga Ergueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Monitor Huáscar were awarded a corner. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 87th minute Leizarraga Ergueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Bidari Ansola. Teodosio Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Molino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
