Spectators: 7866 (Terracing: 5901, Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dennis Tozzi started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when CA Boca Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Tozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Medardo Pombo's late challenge caught a CA Boca Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Medardo Pombo helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Medardo Pombo. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Federico Monaco hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Mauro Risel put in a rough tackle. After 21 minutes of play, CA Boca Jrs's Dennis Tozzi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferman Basabe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Federico Monaco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferman Basabe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ferman Basabe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Tozzi's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Tozzi in the 40th minute of play. Benigno Torne hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, CA Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Tozzi to maneuver through the defense. The Monitor Huáscar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Boca Jrs were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bidari Ansola to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dennis Tozzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Steven Fortis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ferman Basabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Tozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Tozzi in the 71st minute of play. Monitor Huáscar's Turi Larrategui was substituted for David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado. In the 84th minute, Federico Monaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Dennis Tozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferman Basabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Humberto Sagasti hit a great ball. CA Boca Jrs's Federico Monaco suffered a sore thigh after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 94 minutes, Turi Larrategui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monitor Huáscar and the CA Boca Jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Turi Larrategui got a free kick in the 96th minute. The long shot by Corrado Cicchetti in the 97th minute really tested Ferman Basabe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. CA Boca Jrs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
