Errikos Gerokostas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Jorge Tabor made a precise shot to the right of Errikos Gerokostas. Green Horses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christodoulos Symeonas in the 12th minute of play. Green Horses's Avraam Liakos got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Vedillo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Panos Kyriazis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Tabor in the 37th minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Errikos Gerokostas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Christodoulos Symeonas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errikos Gerokostas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Tabor in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Urko FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Veniamin Zapropoulos's late challenge caught a Urko FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veniamin Zapropoulos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Green Horses getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Veniamin Zapropoulos hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Periklis Zorbadelos during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodosio Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christodoulos Symeonas in the 60th minute of the match. Teodosio Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christodoulos Symeonas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Panos Kyriazis hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Veniamin Zapropoulos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Green Horses's Panos Kyriazis got a free kick in the 77th minute. Martin Corderall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Urko FC's Jorge Tabor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Errikos Gerokostas. That made the score 0-3 after 84 minutes of play. 96 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Tabor came free, but Errikos Gerokostas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Urko FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
