Spectators: 7750 (Terracing: 5814, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bidari Ansola started the match with the kick off. When Steven Fortis fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monitor Huáscar's protests and gave Steven Fortis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Steven Fortis hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Jonathan Molino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Benedito Bastos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bidari Ansola went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Monitor Huáscar from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Molino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedito Bastos was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Benedito Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado in the 33rd minute of play. Benedito Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bidari Ansola, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Bidari Ansola was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Reynaldo do Nascimento hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benedito Bastos. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benedito Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bidari Ansola in the 41st minute of the match. The G.E. Juventus FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monitor Huáscar were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. If Jonathan Molino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes G.E. Juventus FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Betão Cosme. Jonathan Molino scored 0-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedito Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Dito de Senna seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dito de Senna the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of G.E. Juventus FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dito de Senna had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Turi Larrategui replaced David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado. Cleiton Queiroz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bidari Ansola got free with Benedito Bastos in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur de Toledo in the 82nd minute of play. Jonathan Molino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Benedito Bastos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benedito Bastos came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Monitor Huáscar's Bidari Ansola. But to his dismay, Bidari Ansola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 89 minutes into the match, Leizarraga Ergueta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benedito Bastos, 0-6. After 92 played minutes G.E. Juventus FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Lino de Lara. When Bidari Ansola came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Monitor Huáscar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bidari Ansola couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turi Larrategui in the 95th minute of play forced G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Benedito Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Jonathan Molino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benedito Bastos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monitor Huáscar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
