Putu Molek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camillo Marcantonio came out and tried to block the shot, but Putu Molek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Basílio Lameiras got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vítor Fagundes hit a great ball. Andaka Gamel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Gabriele, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Camillo Marcantonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Zarco in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Bianco Silvagni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santoryu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta FS the free kick. Camillo Marcantonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Zarco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andaka Gamel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Gabriele's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Delta FS's Miguel Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andaka Gamel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Gabriele in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Putu Molek came free, but Camillo Marcantonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andaka Gamel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andaka Gamel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gabriele in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Gabriele to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Murilo Pestana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santoryu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Gabriele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reginaldo Ornelas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The Delta FS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With 93 minutes on the clock, Filippo Gerosa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 94th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Gerosa to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes, Delta FS's Nicolas Raposo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camillo Marcantonio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delta FS reached it.
