Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Skarpa Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz. When Putu Molek came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Delta FS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Putu Molek couldn't finish the play. Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Andaka Gamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Delta FS's Dário Zarco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boguslaw Falk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julian Wolicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Andaka Gamel made a huge save. Skarpa Ełk's Julian Wolicki got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korneliusz Narbut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andaka Gamel having to interfere. With a little luck, Delta FS's Andaka Gamel got control of the ball when Eugeniusz Wawrukiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Patrício Saldanha hit a great ball. Andaka Gamel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Limanowski in the 40th minute of play. Boguslaw Falk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Saldanha in the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Zarco was the one to do the kick off. Andaka Gamel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Limanowski in the 52nd minute of the match. Boguslaw Falk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Wolicki in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andaka Gamel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 minutes, Julian Wolicki made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Delta FS's Andaka Gamel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 minutes Skarpa Ełk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolas Raposo who took care of the corner kick. Nicolas Raposo made a great header on Delta FS's corner, it was just that Skarpa Ełk's Boguslaw Falk managed to reach the ball for a save. When Arkadiusz Dulka fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skarpa Ełk's protests and gave Arkadiusz Dulka a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the game, Szczepan Gibowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skarpa Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta FS the free kick. The supporters of Delta FS booed when Skarpa Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Gibowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boguslaw Falk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Nicolas Raposo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 73rd minute, Korneliusz Narbut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andaka Gamel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Narbut in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Julian Wolicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skarpa Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Wolicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aleksander Limanowski hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The supporters of Skarpa Ełk booed when Delta FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Zarco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
