Costin Răchitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Gabriele, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Teodor Cârlan charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Cârlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Navigatii Bacău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Bozzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Navigatii Bacău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Zdroană didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Gabriele in the 88th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Costin Răchitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navigatii Bacău's Teodor Cârlan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Romeo Melinescu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Navigatii Bacău's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
