Zebastian Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Yuri Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Holmberg during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hannes Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Zarco in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Almkvist saved NovaStella FK from getting behind. Patrick Almkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrício Saldanha in the 23rd minute. Tobias Kullgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Andaka Gamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Patrick Almkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrício Saldanha. Andaka Gamel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sven-Åke Hellström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andaka Gamel was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 35 played minutes Delta FS got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Oliveira. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Stålman couldn't finish the play. Vítor Fagundes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the NovaStella FK defense, Dário Zarco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Almkvist. The NovaStella FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Almkvist should have stopped the shot. Dário Zarco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dário Zarco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Mikael Duset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NovaStella FK's Patrick Almkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Zarco in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Reginaldo Ornelas hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Delta FS fans cheered their team off the field, for while NovaStella FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
