Nicodim Chirnoagă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Benet having to make a save. Constantin Şuplăcan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Romeo Rotariu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Toader Opriș kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Teodor Cârlan made the kick off in the second half. Navigatii Bacău were furious when Romeo Melinescu was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Navigatii Bacău's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
