Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. booed when Delta FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delta FS's Paulo Esparteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Endira in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Aaron Endira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Esparteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Norino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Nuno Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delta FS and the Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Norino to make the kick off. During the 54th minute of the match Patrício Saldanha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patrício Saldanha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th match minute, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Egoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Aaron Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Esparteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
