With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jiří Lechner in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viriato lago saved Academia Monte Gordo from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jiří Lechner in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Nélson Santiago got a free kick in the 9th minute. Karel Volejník, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jorge Candeias hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Viriato lago came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s Jiří Lechner. But to his dismay, Jiří Lechner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bedřich Holeš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Mendes in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Octávio Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s Zdenek Jochec got a free kick in the 29th minute. Academia Monte Gordo's António Mendes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ⚽Aston Punat⚽. Bedřich Holeš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jiří Lechner was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s Jiří Lechner made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viriato lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Balvín in the 57th minute of play. Viriato lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Lechner, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Hladil in the 62nd minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Viriato lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Karel Volejník managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Karel Volejník was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Frois hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
