With his leg János Saághy managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Delta FS's Miguel Oliveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Patrício Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delta FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrício Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Saághy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Nimród Vére's János Saághy got control of the ball when Patrício Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nimród Vére's János Saághy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Marques in the 28th minute of play. Nimród Vére's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máté Ábrahám was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Esparteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihály Saághy's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Patrício Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Delta FS's Miguel Oliveira in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nimród Vére's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Delta FS fully deserved thier win.
