But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Horado couldn't finish the play. Faustino Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Kapera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filip Oliszewski fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's protests and gave Filip Oliszewski a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Oliszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Benedykt Pierz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Vinicio Reyes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludomil Zbydniowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomil Zbydniowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinicio Reyes was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Janpier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyryl Skaradoski might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustino Markel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyryl Skaradoski ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the game, Cyryl Skaradoski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Faustino Markel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 played minutes 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Furlit. When Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Vinicio Reyes in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca players left disappointed.
