In the 7th minute, Boni Torralba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mesere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Loyola got free with Iker Simon in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Bruninho Coelho took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Iker Simon to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Mesere booed when Bayern Lessa - u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Inacio Tordesillas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Sergipano in the 25th minute of play forced Mesere's goalkeeper Iker Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Délio Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inacio Tordesillas in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Hustaz Cedron made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho de Almeida. Bayern Lessa - u21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ronaldinho de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hustaz Cedron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Bayern Lessa - u21's goal looked a bit too open when Machado Enao came free, but Ronaldinho de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 51st minute, Délio Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mesere's Jose Algara got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mesere made a substitution. Johans Tirado replaced Fernandez Valdivielso. After 57 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Jose Algara. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern Lessa - u21's zone, Inacio Tordesillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho de Almeida came out of the goal and Inacio Tordesillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mesere's Iker Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Sergipano in the 75th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Endura Gos. If Jaunzuria Canta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Machado Enao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayern Lessa - u21 the free kick. The Mesere supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mesere would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
