After having played for 2 minutes, Edgard Uzuri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Uzuri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Janpier in the 5th minute of the match. Faustino Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Farias in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Reyes. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Ceferino Janpier got a free kick in the 16th minute. Teo Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Horado in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Janpier in the 21st minute of play forced Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Teo Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vinicio Reyes hit a great ball. After 28 minutes, Gilberto Horado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca and the Villa La Perla players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Silvio Umbruso fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa La Perla's protests and gave Silvio Umbruso a yellow card for diving instead. Vinicio Reyes was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Javier Gutxi's late challenge caught a Villa La Perla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Gutxi helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Ermegildo Fero got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 51 played minutes, Villa La Perla's Zeledon Abalos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Markel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa La Perla reached it. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Faustino Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Inautzi in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ermegildo Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Faustino Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Inautzi in the 62nd minute of the match. Teo Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Inocencio Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 minutes of play Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Gilberto Horado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Faustino Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Umbruso in the 78th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Gutxi to maneuver through the defense.
