In the 19th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Horado to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Baltasar Irrintzi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Rolando Aranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Terrell Simons came free, but Faustino Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Long came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Ceferino Janpier. But to his dismay, Ceferino Janpier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Reyes came free, but Ernest Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Dep. After some careless play in the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca defense, Casey Redmond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Markel. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Markel should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Reyes came free, but Ernest Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Long having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Vinicio Reyes made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Dep. Moron's Ernest Long tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Palacios to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Terrell Simons scored 2-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Markel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Horado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ernest Long made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Casey Redmond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Markel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. 66 minutes into the game, Terrell Simons was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dep. Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo de Bahia Blanca the free kick. Terrell Simons kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ernest Long had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Janpier. Lucas Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Dep. Faustino Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrell Simons in the 81st minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Dep. Moron's Terrell Simons made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Markel was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dep. Moron.
