After a rather tough play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Odysseas Michelakis got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper Stavros Kabantais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Fero. In the 12th minute, Chrisostomos Bourdas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Theofilos Zaninos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akis Romanidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alvaro Rik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Theofilos Zaninos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Rik came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Chrisostomos Bourdas. But to his dismay, Chrisostomos Bourdas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Barrialito AFC's Alvaro Rik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Romanidis in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Theofilos Zaninos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theofilos Zaninos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theofilos Zaninos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Rik having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Theofilos Zaninos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Chrisostomos Bourdas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Barrialito AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Teodosio Txema hit a great ball. Blas Errando charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Errando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Errando to maneuver through the defense. Akis Romanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Rik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Akis Romanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Rik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Romanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Chrisostomos Bourdas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Genaro Sugoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Romanidis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Nikos Lagonikakis got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to tHe SOnS of rAGnar getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fotis Katsaros hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Theofilos Zaninos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Rik was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Theofilos Zaninos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Theofilos Zaninos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Nereo Urtats charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Urtats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Urtats to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofilos Zaninos in the 73rd minute of play forced Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Alvaro Rik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Theofilos Zaninos came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theofilos Zaninos couldn't finish the play. Theofilos Zaninos might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Rik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theofilos Zaninos ran back to his position shaking his head. Akis Romanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theofilos Zaninos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Alvaro Rik made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, Theofilos Zaninos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrialito AFC the free kick. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when tHe SOnS of rAGnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofilos Zaninos didn't get a good kick on the ball. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Chrisostomos Bourdas got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded tHe SOnS of rAGnar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barrialito AFC.
