A collision led to Barrialito AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Genaro Sugoi hit a great ball. Gaspar Verastegui came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito AFC's Nereo Urtats. But to his dismay, Nereo Urtats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Arizabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Genaro Sugoi fired a really elegant long shot, but Gaspar Verastegui threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Ximen Rosser hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ugutz Azpilcueta during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Ugutz Azpilcueta got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Teodosio Txema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrialito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Txema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Buceo's Gaspar Verastegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Txema in the 43rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Gaspar Verastegui successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laffitte Rioz was the one to do the kick off. Teodosio Txema charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Txema the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Rik was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mano Ramos. Ximen Rosser received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Rik came out and tried to block the shot, but Ximen Rosser slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. The Barrialito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Tab in the 80th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Gaspar Verastegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Lucas Cepa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Rik. The goal made the score 3-3. Sporting Buceo's Gaspar Verastegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Maldonado in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Teodosio Txema ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Verastegui was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barrialito AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Buceo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
