The referee showed Borja Colidio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Borja Colidio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pezzella in the 28th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Higinio Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Borja Colidio to make the kick off. Higinio Lizbeth came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Dominguez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 74th minute. Ovidio Weterio took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Gutierrez. Luis Gutierrez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Higinio Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borja Colidio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Gorka came free, but Luis Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River Plate ® 9-12's Luis Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Weterio in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Maní FC booed when River Plate ® 9-12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball.
