Spectators: 7734 (Terracing: 5802, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) 3 minutes into the game, Seraċini Għawdxin's William Manicolo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Seraċini Għawdxin fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Vella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Seraċini Għawdxin's Adrian Sladden got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elano Amorim came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Godwin Spagnol. But to his dismay, Godwin Spagnol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 22nd match minute, Clube Atlético Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Adrian Sladden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano Amorim. Clube Atlético Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Sladden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Markham in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elano Amorim saved Clube Atlético Paulista from getting behind. When Godwin Spagnol fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seraċini Għawdxin's protests and gave Godwin Spagnol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Seraċini Għawdxin getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Godwin Spagnol hit a great ball. Seraċini Għawdxin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Arnaldo Couto scored to the left of an out of position Dejan Cumbo, making the score, 1-5. Luís Fabiano Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred da Silva was the one to do the kick off. Elano Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Sladden in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Pereira in the 54th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Dejan Cumbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Fabiano Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute of the match Clayton Vella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elano Amorim skillfully saved the ball. With 60 minutes on the clock, Valdir Perez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 60th minute, one of Clube Atlético Paulista:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clube Atlético Paulista. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Seraċini Għawdxin. Clayton Vella stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elano Amorim. 1-6. Arnaldo Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Clube Atlético Paulista made a substitution. Geraldo Moraes replaced Matheus Penha. Clube Atlético Paulista made a substitution. Wilian Rosado replaced Luís Fabiano Pereira. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Clube Atlético Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Geraldo Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iuri Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Paulista's protests and gave Iuri Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. Iuri Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Paulista's Válbson Munhoz got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Clayton Vella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geraldo Moraes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Seraċini Għawdxin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
