Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cafu Catarinense started the match with the kick off. Kaká Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If David Guib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaká Lopes came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Gabriel Otsoa. But to his dismay, Gabriel Otsoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Flavio Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Catarinense in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Luiz Fabiano Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Fertus made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Wanderson Valadares sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Guib was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Lucas Guter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 55 minutes into the game, David Guib was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jenipapo SC the free kick. 57 minutes into the match, Cafu Catarinense notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Flavio Fertus. Flavio Fertus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás Passos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The long shot by Lucas Guter in the 62nd minute really tested Kaká Lopes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Apocalípticos & Caóticos's zone, Luiz Fabiano Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Fertus came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovani Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Apocalípticos & Caóticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovani Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Giovani Pinheiro got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 90th minute, Lucas Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Percy Lopes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Fertus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaká Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Errando in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jenipapo SC had won after a very even match.
