In the 10th minute, Zbigniew Skaradowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beniamin Nakoneczny might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wladyslaw Mazierz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beniamin Nakoneczny ran back to his position shaking his head. Damazy Merski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wladyslaw Mazierz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Loncki hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beniamin Nakoneczny got free with Wladyslaw Mazierz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mieszko Literski struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mieszko Skrzypiec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Grodzka. 33 minutes into the match, Piast Choszczno's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Kolano came free, but Mieszko Skrzypiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beniamin Nakoneczny hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mieszko Skrzypiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Literski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Piast Choszczno's Mieszko Skrzypiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Kolano in the 39th minute of play. FC Grodzka's Wladyslaw Mazierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Merski in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zbigniew Skaradowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Kolano got free with Mieszko Skrzypiec in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piast Choszczno's Damazy Merski got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wladyslaw Mazierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Merski in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play Piast Choszczno's Mateusz Absolwent was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Piast Choszczno:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Grodzka:s goal. After 92 minutes, Lucjan Dziedziak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piast Choszczno and the FC Grodzka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Lucjan Dziedziak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mieszko Literski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mieszko Skrzypiec made a huge save. Mieszko Kochowski's late challenge caught a FC Grodzka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mieszko Kochowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Piast Choszczno getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mieszko Kochowski hit a great ball. The FC Grodzka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Grodzka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
