Jaime Nafarroa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 18 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Siqueira. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Enrique Egoitz hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Arantes. Alexsandro Netto came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Marcos Madeo. But to his dismay, Marcos Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Mauro Silva got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Sebastian Edur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Erubiel Chuan hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Jeferson Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Nafarroa was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Leopoldo Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai Champions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Amaral was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Timoteo Cresconio got a free kick in the 54th minute. Alexsandro Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Illan in the 59th minute of play. In the 81st minute, João Augusto Luz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa didn't even have to move.
