The supporters of Clube Atlético Paulista booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Illan in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gildo Diniz saved Clube Atlético Paulista from getting behind. If Eliseo Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Clube Atlético Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Illan in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildo Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fred da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jaime Nafarroa made a huge save. Eliseo Illan took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildo Diniz. Gildo Diniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When La Gallardeta's Eliseo Illan in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Atlético Paulista's goalie prevented a goal. Abelardo Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Paulista's Iuri Nascimento got a free kick in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Illan in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildo Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Clube Atlético Paulista players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Gallardeta were winning 0-1.

After 53 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Cresconio. La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred da Silva in the 56th minute of play. After 70 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Eron. The audience was convinced that Fred da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Nafarroa was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Fred da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Arnaldo Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Eron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gildo Diniz, 0-2. The La Gallardeta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
