Gildo Diniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the game, Nibiru X's Severiano Soler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 58th minute, Nibiru X's Aldo Flechart ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gildo Diniz. Válbson Munhoz's late challenge caught a Nibiru X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Clube Atlético Paulista getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Válbson Munhoz hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aldo Flechart kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gildo Diniz. That made the score 0-10 in the 69 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Pereira in the 76th minute of play forced Nibiru X's goalkeeper Ursino Canío to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Flechart got free with Gildo Diniz in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Paulista's Gildo Diniz got control of the ball when Severiano Soler tried to sneak it across the goal line.
