Gino Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Billy Ödman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The corner led Buritama Sports's Dedê Britto to fire away a dangerous shot which Billy Ödman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dedé Camargo hit a great ball. The supporters of Jordan F1 91-05 booed when Buritama Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Ödman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Per Andberg came free, but Genílson Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Ödman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willian Pernambucano went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gino Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Jordan F1 91-05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Öberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Ödman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Azevedo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Åke Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Genílson Porto throw himself and got hold of the ball when David Arenberg in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Per Andberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Genílson Porto made a huge save. Jordan F1 91-05's Billy Ödman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Britto in the 67th minute of play. After 74 played minutes, Jordan F1 91-05's Jan-Erik Billock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genílson Porto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jordan F1 91-05 reached it. After 77 minutes of play, Buritama Sports's Dedê Britto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billy Ödman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Buritama Sports's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
