After 5 played minutes FCF north got a freekick which was hit by Erben Eringa. Leendert Kremer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Madeo in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Rogelio Madeo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leendert Kremer, 1-0. Leendert Kremer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Madeo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Leendert Kremer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to FCF north getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pim Hendriks hit a great ball. The supporters of FCF north booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Mike Pluijm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leendert Kremer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FCF north's Allard Meppelink got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erben Eringa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Pim Hendriks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCF north and the Vélez Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pim Hendriks kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Marcel Jacobs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Gonzo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Leendert Kremer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vélez Juniors. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Enrique Urtsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
