Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) Rogelio Madeo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hernan Gonchan came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Billy Ödman could save by the left post. After 9 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Cristofol. In the 10th minute of the match David Arenberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Urtsin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Per Andberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Urtsin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When Jens-Ola Fernkvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Jordan F1 91-05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ola Fernkvist couldn't finish the play. Hernan Gonchan's late challenge caught a Jordan F1 91-05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Gonchan helped the player get up and apologised. 19 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Billy Ödman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Gonchan. Rogelio Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Ture Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ture Ahlgren fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jordan F1 91-05's protests and gave Ture Ahlgren a yellow card for diving instead. 29 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Billy Ödman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Lleir. If Dionisio Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan F1 91-05's Billy Ödman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Monico in the 36th minute of play. Claes Söder hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rogelio Madeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rogelio Madeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vélez Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Madeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Ödman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Andberg made a kick off. Per Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Monico during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Monico. A collision led to Vélez Juniors getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Emilio Serafo hit a great ball. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Jairo Herensuge replaced Lucio Abeita. In the 61st match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Serafo to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Serafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Billy Ödman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Monico came free, but Billy Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Dionisio Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Serafo in the 73rd minute of play forced Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Billy Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Gonchan came free, but Billy Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Olsman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jordan F1 91-05's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vélez Juniors the free kick. After 93 played minutes Jordan F1 91-05 got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Olsman. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vélez Juniors players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
