The coaching staff of Classe A Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anísio Netto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 31 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Netto. 36 minutes into the game, Wargön's Sigvard Wallander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egídio Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jörgen Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ramiro Duarte took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Olofsson. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wargön reached it. In the 55th minute, Ramiro Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörgen Olofsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 60th minute, Eugênio Peres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
