The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Vélez Juniors getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Madeo was the one to do the kick off. When Quintyn Zubizarrieta fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unikurdos United F.C.'s protests and gave Quintyn Zubizarrieta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Unikurdos United F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Edson Soret didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Madeo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes, Frascuelo Casado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unikurdos United F.C. and the Vélez Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Frascuelo Casado. 72 minutes into the match, Lordi Salais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Urtsin. Vélez Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lordi Salais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 75 minutes of play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Lordi Salais made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Urtsin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Emilio Serafo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edson Soret, 2-3. Enrique Urtsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lordi Salais, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 87 minutes, Uxio Agosta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unikurdos United F.C. and the Vélez Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card.
