Gino Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georg Vallin having to make a save. Protegéerna's attentive Fredrik Billberg managed to snatch the ball when Abel Falcão made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Roy Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Roy Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Trevisan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Protegéerna's Roy Bennet in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Roy Bennet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Bennet came free, but Genílson Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo-Erik Springfält recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Georg Vallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Roy Bennet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Genílson Porto made a huge save. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Roy Bennet came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Protegéerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Bennet couldn't finish the play. In the 39thth minute of the game Roy Bennet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sports's Genílson Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Roy Bennet made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genílson Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Bennet in the 46th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Genílson Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Bo-Erik Springfält got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willian Pernambucano to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Roy Bennet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Porto. Buritama Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Bennet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Roy Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genílson Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Protegéerna's Roy Bennet in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritama Sports's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Bennet in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roy Bennet might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genílson Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roy Bennet ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Bennet came free, but Genílson Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Gino Azevedo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Protegéerna's Georg Vallin. Georg Vallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alexander Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genílson Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Protegéerna's Charlie Apelquist was substituted for Alexander Lundström. Genílson Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo-Erik Springfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Skark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Springfält to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Skark in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Porto saved Buritama Sports from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Sven Skark notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Buritama Sports's Genílson Porto. Genílson Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Sven Skark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genílson Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Genílson Porto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Protegéerna's Sven Skark shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-1 in the ordered_time% minute.
