Spectators: 7660 (Terracing: 5747, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Guilherme Quirino kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique da Cunha in the 7th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Hendrik Adriaanse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfried Robben hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th play minute Olaf Plaggenborg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Simão Soares. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Kees Lammens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simão Soares. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes van Zwieten got free with Simão Soares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Luís Guilherme Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Adriaanse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, De Pelgrims's Kees Lammens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Jef Savenije hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. De Pelgrims's Hendrik Adriaanse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Quirino in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Jef Savenije hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goalkeeper Simão Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olaf Plaggenborg. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kees Lammens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Qjos MiLLano's Maicon da Rocha got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Godfried Robben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hendrik Adriaanse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Qjos MiLLano got a freekick which was hit by Maicon da Rocha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brasil Ponta in the 63rd minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Hendrik Adriaanse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Kees Lammens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Pelgrims's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qjos MiLLano the free kick. In the 64th minute, Kees Lammens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Guilherme Quirino hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Olaf Plaggenborg hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hendrik Adriaanse made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Luís Guilherme Quirino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Lammens in the 76th minute of play forced Qjos MiLLano's goalkeeper Simão Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiën Buskermolen came free, but Simão Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kees Lammens in the 89th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Qjos MiLLano's Hortêncio da Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hendrik Adriaanse. Hendrik Adriaanse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The De Pelgrims support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
