Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrzej Filipowski got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, De Pelgrims's Raymond Baptist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raymond Baptist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of De Pelgrims protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raymond Baptist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Hendrik Adriaanse, was totally fooled by Karpaty Krosno's Jurand Tyszka, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Karpaty Krosno's Norbert Rakiewicz got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Karpaty Krosno booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jef Savenije didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgierd Raszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Frits Beuneker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hendrik Adriaanse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Filipowski in the 18th minute of the match. Hendrik Adriaanse made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Andrzej Filipowski sent off a good shot on target. De Pelgrims's Godfried Robben got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin de Boer. When Karpaty Krosno's Dariusz Perkowski in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Pelgrims's goalie prevented a goal. After 42 minutes, Norbert Rakiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karpaty Krosno and the De Pelgrims players grew even worse after the yellow card. Norbert Rakiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

53 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Filipowski came free, but Hendrik Adriaanse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Ferdi van der Schaaf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Pelgrims's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karpaty Krosno the free kick. In the 61st match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi van der Schaaf to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz got control of the ball when Godfried Robben tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frits Beuneker in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wasyl Sidorowicz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Perkowski in the 75th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Hendrik Adriaanse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Karpaty Krosno's Waldemar Prusek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hendrik Adriaanse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Karpaty Krosno from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes, Frits Beuneker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Pelgrims and the Karpaty Krosno players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Frits Beuneker hit a great ball. De Pelgrims's Hendrik Adriaanse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Perkowski in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of De Pelgrims booed when Karpaty Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Szostak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kelvin de Boer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Karpaty Krosno players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
