In the 5th minute Joaquin Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Cleto Rodas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wasyl Sidorowicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Prusek in the 17th minute of play forced La Vieja Guarida FC's goalkeeper Antonio Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Dariusz Perkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Filipowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Rufo in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Rufo in the 25th minute of play forced Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Wasyl Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dominik Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Norbert Rakiewicz hit a great ball. When Karpaty Krosno's Dariusz Perkowski in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Vieja Guarida FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 44 minutes, Andrzej Filipowski made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Vieja Guarida FC's Antonio Gagriel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Wasyl Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Rodas in the 53rd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes La Vieja Guarida FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Rufo. Wladyslaw Pietras was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karpaty Krosno! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for La Vieja Guarida FC. Rolando Eguen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wasyl Sidorowicz. 1-1. In the 68th match minute, La Vieja Guarida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Rodas to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Rodas came free, but Wasyl Sidorowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurand Tyszka kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Prusek. Elpidio Munio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrzej Filipowski got free with Antonio Gagriel in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wasyl Sidorowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Rodas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Slawomir Sikola fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karpaty Krosno's protests and gave Slawomir Sikola a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Sikola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Garin in the 84th minute of play forced Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Wasyl Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Prusek's late challenge caught a La Vieja Guarida FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Prusek helped the player get up and apologised. Waldemar Prusek hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Dariusz Perkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karpaty Krosno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Vieja Guarida FC the free kick. After 95 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Perkowski.
