Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raul Fresco got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Raul Fresco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Melbourne 007's Jasmine Kuch. Jasmine Kuch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Brook Yard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The nice shot from Brook Yard in the 11thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Lucas Cesaro had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The corner led Melbourne 007's Brook Yard to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucas Cesaro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brook Yard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melbourne 007's Jasmine Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Fresco in the 15th minute of play. Jasmine Kuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brook Yard hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Brook Yard's late challenge caught a Gastres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brook Yard helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Melbourne 007 got a freekick which was hit by Brook Yard. Jasmine Kuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Fresco hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Hunn in the 36th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Lucas Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Eduino in the 37th minute of play forced Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Jasmine Kuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Gastres FC's Faustino Eduino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jasmine Kuch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Melbourne 007 defense, Raul Fresco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasmine Kuch. The Melbourne 007 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasmine Kuch should have stopped the shot. After the first half Gastres FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jake Hunn to make the kick off. Jasmine Kuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Eduino in the 59th minute of play. Raul Frescos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Jasmine Kuch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Fresco got free with Jasmine Kuch in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Endura. In the 66th minute of the match Brook Yard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Cesaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Gastres FC's Raul Fresco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jasmine Kuch. Jasmine Kuch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When Raul Fresco fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gastres FC's protests and gave Raul Fresco a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Fresco hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Lucas Cesaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Hunn in the 76th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gastres FC's Raul Fresco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jasmine Kuch. That made the score 0-5 after 79 minutes of play. Battle Kreck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lucas Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gastres FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
