OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregg Garing in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Fabio Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Melbourne 007's Edmund Bower got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Israel Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brook Yard in the 25th minute of play. If Matthew Whitmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Melbourne 007 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kane Kennewell hit a great ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Brook Yard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Oviedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brook Yard in the 37th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Matthew Whitmore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melbourne 007's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthew Whitmore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brook Yard to make the kick off. Brook Yard succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Brook Yard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Israel Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Michael Saborio fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OROTINENSE's protests and gave Michael Saborio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Michael Saborio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Hunn in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brook Yard. Israel Contreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brook Yard in the 70th minute of the match. Brook Yard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Contreras having to interfere. Matthew Whitmore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Israel Contreras made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, Kane Kennewell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melbourne 007's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OROTINENSE the free kick. Mikael Viquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jasmine Kuch. Melbourne 007's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vinicio Jarquin hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Brook Yard notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras. Israel Contreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Shortis got free with Israel Contreras in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brook Yard. Jasmine Kuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Viquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melbourne 007's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
