Sebastian Zogreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Skirzynski came free, but Sebastian Zogreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Kalak in the 21st minute of play forced Muget's goalkeeper Sebastian Zogreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Victoria Września booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Mărăcuță didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Burdzel came free, but Sebastian Zogreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Urdoi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Julian Scigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Popescu in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radowit Burdzel was the one to do the kick off. In the 72nd minute, Radowit Burdzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria Września fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Olimpiu Giurgiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jurand Basaik during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Victoria Września was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Basaik to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Popescu in the 94th minute of play forced Victoria Września's goalkeeper Julian Scigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Sabin Golescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Scigan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Muget supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Victoria Września's performance. The match ended with a win for Victoria Września.
