The supporters of Victoria Września booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Serginho da Silva. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Skirzynski in the 14th minute of play. Boleslaw Perkowski's late challenge caught a Grêmio Prudente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boleslaw Perkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Radowit Burdzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 27 played minutes Victoria Września got a freekick which was hit by Roch Skirzynski. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radowit Burdzel in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Scigan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guto Lucas went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Julian Scigan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Velasco. Julian Scigan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Boleslaw Perkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Victoria Września's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Perez came free, but Julian Scigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Skirzynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Thiago Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Oséas Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoria Września's Michal Bartocha got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Victoria Września's Julian Scigan got control of the ball when Mauro Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Prudente's Hélder Tinoco got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Michal Bartocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Couto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Radowit Burdzel made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Guto Lucas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Scigan. That made the score 2-2 in the 94 minute of play.
