The supporters of Hawk Tuah FC booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Schlager didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benjamin Wrobel fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored International Thunders's protests and gave Benjamin Wrobel a yellow card for diving instead. Mario Grebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmy Ström went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 15 played minutes Hawk Tuah FC got a freekick which was hit by Per-Erik Brun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timmy Ström got free with Mario Grebe in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Timmy Ström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Grebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Eddie Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Schlager in the 31st minute of play. Svante Käller kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobi Pircher in the 33rd minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Eddie Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Jonas Wehren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eddie Bergström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Eddie Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Wehren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eddie Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Schlager in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Wehren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eddie Bergström. That made the score 2-2 in the 53 minute of play. After 59 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Robert Schlager. 63 minutes into the match, International Thunders's Jonas Wehren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mario Grebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Grebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Ström in the 70th minute of the match. Hawk Tuah FC's Eddie Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Wehren in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Leif Västlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Grebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Colin Schwarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hawk Tuah FC's Ralf Thedin in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye International Thunders's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Eddie Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Wehren. Ingvar Kleen lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Hawk Tuah FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ingvar Kleen hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
