Thiago Couto made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ragnar Fribäck sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Ragnar Fribäck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Couto. Ragnar Fribäck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ragnar Fribäck succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Thiago Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Adelsköld in the 16th minute. Matthias Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson de Queiroz in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Mauro Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Prudente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JKs Talanger the free kick. After 26 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Mattos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Arenstedt in the 28th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Thiago Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Thiago Couto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Matthias Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson de Queiroz in the 33rd minute of play. JKs Talanger's attack was well implemented in the 35th minute, but when Olov Hellkvist was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Josef Adelsköld scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Claes Arenstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Couto was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Allan Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertinho Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ragnar Fribäck took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Couto. Thiago Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After having played for 65 minutes, Olov Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JKs Talanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Hellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Brummer kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. JKs Talanger's Matthias Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson de Queiroz in the 68th minute of play. Josef Adelsköld kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Mauro Mattos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthias Fransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 86th minute, Olov Hellkvist made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Couto. Grêmio Prudente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Grêmio Prudente's Thiago Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Fribäck in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Grêmio Prudente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Hellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Thiago Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Adelsköld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Fransson was a little too slow when Válbson de Queiroz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 6-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. JKs Talanger had won after a very even match.
